PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM VIOLENCE

1. Nessuna violenza sui bambini è giustificabile; tutte le violenze sui bambini possono essere evitate. In ogni paese del mondo si verificano casi di violenza sui minori, senza
distinzioni di cultura, classe, istruzione, ricchezza e origine etnica.
In ogni regione, in contrasto con
l'obbligo di tutelare i diritti umani e con i bisogni legati allo sviluppo dei bambini, non solo la violenza
sembra essere accettata socialmente, ma spesso è autorizzata dalla legge e dalle istituzioni statali.
